All underlying data is sourced from Statistics Canada public tables via the Statistics Canada Web Data Service, under the Statistics Canada Open Licence. Statistics Canada regularly revises its published data series. Because the full historical index is recomputed on each data refresh, previously published index values may change as source data is revised. Historical values shown on this site represent the most current computation and should not be treated as permanent records.
